Our Poultry Amnesty & Rehoming Day provides an opportunity for members of the public to surrender poultry to reduce the risk of them ending up in the local environment.
All poultry varieties are accepted – chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, quail, guinea fowl etc. The majority of birds surrendered are usually offered for rehoming at the same event, after they have passed a basic assessment by a Club member.
A donation to the Southern Tasmanian Poultry Club Inc is appreciated for all surrenders and rehomes
